The Remote
Monitoring Conference
will bring oil and gas industry professionals together to cultivate
a future-oriented approach to remote monitoring, control, and
operation of subsea fields. Subsea technology is becoming
increasingly more important as experts in the field observe
the formation of two patterns within the industry: New production
wells added to mature oil fields are relatively small, and new
discoveries are often tied in to existing infrastructure in the
form of subsea satellites. New field discoveries are done in more
harsh environments with challenging reservoir conditions, which
demand for innovation with respect to exploitation and production.
In both cases, subsea technology is crucial.
At this years conference the main theme will be “The Arctic Challenge”,
focusing on a number of barriers for tapping the full potential
of subsea fields in such harsh environments. The conference also
addresses the need to balance requirements to technology,
environmental issues and profitability. The four key sessions of
the Remote Monitoring Conference will focus on technical solutions
as well as governing conditions within:
We would like you to be part of future solutions to subsea development and look forward to seeingsecond Remote Monitoring Conference in Trondheim
– the Technology Capital of Norway.
